Just watched the movie called "Eternal Sunshine of the spotless mind"...it says at the cover, "A film for anyone with a past...they'd rather forget." Everyone has his own past, which they will keep for their whole lives, and past which they wish they had never had. This movie, talks about, people suffering with memories that they rather forget and someone there to help erasing the memories, or more specifically, erasing someone from their lives.
Maybe we should be glad, that there's no such technology yet. Part and parcel of our lives, are built up with all those memories, they are all valuable ones. Everything you feel, everything you touch, everyone you met, turn out to be memories stored deep inside of you.
Pain memories..they taught us how to be strong, how to face them, how to handle them. They are like the orange pulps, being left at the bottom of a glass of orange juice, stir it, to bring the memories on to the surface of your mind, and feel the sourness...Sweet memories...you will feel it with your heart, and you will never give it away. You'll smile just when you think about it.
In our whole life, we taste the bitterness and sweetness. You cannot forget that particular memory, cause it somehow affects you, became part of you, and the one who you are today. So why tearing a piece of you away? And make yourself incomplete?
They said that, thinking about how to forget it, actually makes you remember it more, I think it's true. So, why forget, while you have the ability to remember...
