“What if today were my last day on earth? … the culture doesn’t encourage you to think about such things until you’re about to die. We’re so wrapped up with egotistical things, career, family, having enough money, meeting the mortgage, getting a new car, fixing the radiator when it breaks - we’re involved in trillions of little acts just to keep going. So we don’t get into the habit of standing back and looking at our lives and saying, Is this all? Is this all I want? Is something missing? … You need someone to probe you in that direction. It just won’t happen automatically.”

Comes from the heart...
"Do the kinds of things that come from the heart. When you do, you won’t be dissatisfied, you won’t be envious, you won’t be longing for somebody else’s things. On the contrary, you’ll be overwhelmed with what comes back.” - Tuesdays with Morrie
Sometimes, your heart makes you stand in the middle of a crossroad by sending 2 voices to your mind. One voice is strictly affected by what people are telling you what to do, the environment as well as the culture. Another voice comes deep down from your heart, trying to ask you to make your own choice, a choice which is right for you.
Life is always about taking chances and learning from mistakes. People always say, start your journey from your heart. I guess that's what they mean by doing what you feel is right and comfortable with.
We're always in the situation of crosschecking ourselves. Doing comparison and chasing over something which someone else is chasing at, without knowing whether that's something that we want for ourselves. So, don't go chasing, but chase only what makes you feel good feel peace with. :)
Hope that you're following closely to your heart and be happy with what you're doing. Listen to your heart when you feel lost, hope that it will guide you home. :)

Romantic
I just happened to flip through the lyrics of the Fang Da Tong's CD which I've just bought and found out the page which writes about the title - Romantic. He wrote a list of things which he thought were romantic.
So what are the things that are romantic to you?
For me, it would be...
Love.Sunrise.Sunset.Sea.Jazz.Song.Lyrics.Bench.Park.Night.Moon.Stars.Smile.Candy.Sweet.Autumn.Stroll.Leaves.Breeze.Blue Sky.Clouds.Italy.Maldives.Beach.River.Perfume.Winter.Storybook.Piano.Ebony.Cake.Coffee.Field.Waves.Black&White.Ivory.Vinyl.Musicbox.Feeling.Painting.Morning

Zombie
Do you clearly know what you want? Do you do what you need to do in order to get what you want? Risk taker doesn't care what it would be making the right or left turn, as they explore taking the chance and do whatever it takes to achieve their goals. Do you consider yourself as one of them?
Everyday, you're struggling to find your niche in this world. Everyday, you're telling yourself that you can't waste another day again without feeling you've done something today. You're stuffing all the concerns inside your small heart, and express your concerns to someone you trust, and then, it becomes a babble to that someone and yourself.
Then, you feel tired of yourself and tired of the whole idea and culture. You start to accept that that's the reality and you concern no more. You move with the wave, just to make sure that you survive. The next thing, dreams and thoughts became a childish thing to you, coz you don't have the luxury to be talking about dreams. You ignore your needs, no longer express your thoughts, coz needs and thoughts make people hunger, and it will only add burden to you. Subsequently, you accept whatever that comes your way. In the end, numbness is what you felt.
Yes, that's how people turned into zombie I guess. Stereotype life.

All at Once
Lately, my life has been, "all at once". What I mean basically is, I'm getting so busy with the many things which come all at once. Never in my life I ever felt so occupied that I really don't have much time for myself. I've been wanting to be able to update my blogs once in a while, to get to write down what I always wanted to say in here. But all that I wanted to say, just stay on my mind, as I don't have the time to express them all out. So I'm going to take this time to write them out, all at once, in this blog. :)
I've been a busy juggler recently, juggling time with family, friends, social life, workout, work, free time, house chores and online business. Late dinner, late bath, and doing house chores after work. Now only I realise that it is really not easy for a woman or a mother to manage everything at one time and still got the time to stay fit and attractive. Husbands always complain about wives getting old, no makeups, no fancy dresses, but they never thought about how tough a working woman or working mum is doing. Have to clean up the house, do laundry, cook, take care of the baby and work while able to look slim and sexy for you, with manicures and pedicures and nice high heels. Guys, have a thought about this, and think how would you be manage to do that if you were them. ;) It's part of your responsibility too that they stay good in shape and look healthy. :)
Wish that I can slow down my pace, or maybe back to be a juggler who does not have to juggle her balls fast. I have been moving fast like crazy, afraid that I would waste the little time left for me after work. I know that time is what I need, but we all cant get more than 24 hours a day. I've been missing many of the nice movies that I wanted to watch in cinema, no extra time for my guitar and photo-taking and definitely no time for coffee-sipping.
Everyday is arranging to-do list on my notebook, arranging my work and time. Mult-tasking comes in eventually if you want to cope with what's on hands, then you will be stay out of focus, doing so many things at one time. In the end, you might stop and stare, what I've been doing all these while? Yeah, we're doing what we always do, chasing dreams, repeating the life routine until we're tired and in the end, we said, alright alright, at least I've done something while I was young.
Most probably, you would say, yeah, life's like that. That's what everybody is doing, why must you be the exceptional case? Alright, fine, we're pushed by our peers, our cultures, our urge to reach our own goals, one day we might be pushed to the edge yelling for help and showing the T sign...panting. Cool, I'm going to look for an alternative, shift and shift the position until it's all good. ;)
Finish up my "All at Once" in one long post and one long breath. Syiok, whew! :D

Moving it slow
After the movie with friends tonight, came back home and moving in a slow pace. Just as normal, boil water, clean the kitchen, but tonight, doing them all in slow pace. Just don't feel like making anything fast at all.
Not to grumble, but I'm really tired of thinking of so many things at one time, doing so many things at one time. The feeling's like you're in the middle of the sea, so tired of using all of your energy to swim, that you just can't stop, as you've been pushed by the waves all the time. You will drown if you stop.
List getting longer, tasks getting tougher, commitments getting bigger. Not trying to exaggerate, just that they are really the facts in life when you grow older.
Have not been getting a real vacation yet. Wish to have one in the near future. Somewhere that I can get away and rejuvenate.

One of these days...i'm so tired
I'm tired. Mentally and physically.
Maybe I worry too much. Maybe I can just close one eye.
Taking a short break has already become a to-do list.

New Year New Resolution
Another year has gone. Past few years, never really write down a list of new year resolution, thinking of doing one for 2009.
I think the main things would be :
1. No procrastination
2. Adhere to Punctuality Rules
3. Sleep Early
4. Eat Healthy
5. Fighter Spirit
I guess that would be the main list.
Take a chance, make a change.
May it all be well in this new year.
Happy New Year! :)

Looking for a new place to eat and hang out?
I love to eat..haha..like anyone of you maybe. :P Hopefully this little post will promote this little place to the minority who happens to read my blog and pass the "let's try it out" message to all the eaters out there :D
This new place is Kelana Jaya Plaza.. Kelana Jaya Plaza is new and it is really really a nice place. And it's such as shame that during my dinner there, I didn't bring my camera that I'm not able to post any of the photos here. The place is very breezy at night as beside of it is the lake and erm, as it is still very new that there're not enough crowd yet even though there're a few restaurants and pubs have been opened there. It is no doubt a great place to hang out with your friends by the lake, enjoying the environment and drinks. ;)
The first restaurant that I would like to recommend is Blue Dragon. It has one restaurant in Cheras and now it has opened another branch in Kelana Jaya Plaza. Blue Dragon has got very authenthic thai cuisine, nice tomyum, nice fried rice and dishes to be UATed by you guys and promote to more and more people to bring the crowd to the place. And and and...Louisiana, western cuisine restaurant. The western cuisine is wow (by the look of the menu, haven't tried it out yet) It has appealing ambience, music and environment. :)
The remaining is left for you to explore and UAT. :P So what i'm doing here is, hoping that it will bring more crowd to this nice-setup plaza which will add as another hang out place to all of us. :D
P/S: Not holding any shares in Blue Dragon or Louisiana :D Promoting it coz I love to enjoy nice food so much, that I hope that they can maintain so that I can go back to eat again! :P

Free Time Out of Bound
I have been very busy and occupied for the last couple of weeks. Suddenly in my life, I feel very exhausted, that I can't find a time to sit down and relax and to keep on feeling that there're still a lot of things listed in my to-do list, that I can't just stop but keep on rushing for the tasks.
Busy and busy and busy, and realised that you didn't have much of the time for yourself. Doing something good for yourself, go on a trip, pamper yourself with good spa maybe...sit down and enjoy a cuppa coffee without having to rush to your next destination. What each of us is having now is called, busy city life.
Daily activities makes you swerve to the left and right that you might suddenly forgotten which way you're actually heading to. From time to time, make a stop at the pit stop to review and recheck, make sure you're still on the track, and then there you go again.
Merry Christmas to everyone, may everyone of us have a good year ahead. :)

Blogging
It feels like it has been ages since I last posted in my blog. :D
Recently have been so busy, and I have always wanted to post something here from the time that I went back to my hometown, there're so many things that I wanted to jot down in here. All of the things that I wanted to share and write, I've been keeping inside my heart. Wanted to put in my experience driving back to my hometown the first time, the flood in kelantan, the food I had in kelantan...so much more..
So glad that I'm able to sit down and write this blog, expressing myself here. I always thought about putting what I felt, what I saw and experienced here throughout my daily life, hoping that one day, my children would be able to come around here and spend some time reading them. In case I might have forgotten what I wanted to tell them or maybe something which I can't easily express it verbally. :) So that some important stories or lesson that I've learned would not be left untold.
Generation by generation. I believe that there're many stories which were not told or might have been forgotten by my grandparents and parents. My grandmum managed to tell me some part of her and grandpa's love story before she past away. If they started blogging at that time, then I would be reading a lot about their stories. :P
So keep on blogging, keep on writing, keep on recording, be the author of your own story. ;)

Back Home
Back at home at last. :) Glad to be home, but I "kit teung" what is to be missed in bkk. :P
Plenty of stuffs to be done. Bills and bills, house chores... :) Going off for 1 month, back to attend to the many things. Kind of having many i/o last few weeks and the weeks before, starting to get thirsty for a cuppa "breakfree".
It's end of the year, I think most of us are getting annual leave to be somewhere in the world. So enjoy and enjoy and enjoy! :D (think i'm going crazy)
Ok, for those who's still around here, no plans of taking leaves yet, let's have a little fun with...

Working Life in Bangkok - Next Plane Home

This month being in Bangkok, have been the fullest after so long. :) Have been bz with work activities, bringing colleagues around bkk. :) I would be on the next plane home tomorrow and I'm surely going to miss this place like I always do.
I went around places that I have used to go, visited the familiar food stalls and shops, eating food that I miss a lot, meeting people whom I'm familiar with, no doubt it's indeed like a second home here.
Listening to banana fm, thai radio station. They play the hottest thai songs. :) I'm going to miss Centre Point, Guai Lou's fried rice, Yu Fah's Som Tum, Khao Phat Poo, Cha Keow + Nes, Sirocco, Noodle Soup, Chatuchak, Duck Noodles, Coffee Beans's cheese cake...seems like uncountables, and I'm going to miss Loy Kra Thong. Ok, I'm going to miss a lot of the things I like here. I'm coming back, coming back to travel surely.
See you again bkk, will be seeing you again. :)

Working Life in Bangkok - It's State Tower :)
I always like this place. Like it a lot. :) Brought my colleagues up to state tower 2 days ago, glad that they enjoyed hanging out there. With the nice martinis, nice Bangkok view from 64th floor, nice ambience and nice music. Anything that you can ask for to feel nice and easy to hang out with friends. :)
There're sofas for you to sit around comfortably, but most of the time they would be occupied, that's why we had to stand and waited for our drinks before we brought our drinks to the skybar. The skybar's a little bit extended out where we could take sips from our drinks while enjoying the view.
Jazz..yes, they have jazz music playing. Jazz band. :) I like it when the jazz singer started to sing, it somehow turns on the romantic ambience..nicee.. :)
Didn't manage to take photos, but do check out Auyong's blog for the photos.

Working Life in Bangkok - Renovated
Centre Point is fully renovated. :) When I left a year ago, the lobby was just renovated and they're just starting renovating the room. I came into the room..and whow, it's nice, especially the lighting. The right lighting always makes people feel warm and welcomed. :) Take a look at the renovated room.

Working Life in Bangkok - Back Late Today

One of the photos that I've taken last year. It's Mc D in Bangrak. Behind, it's the State Tower.
I'm still full, can't go to sleep yet. Came back late today, didn't know what to eat, so I walked to Mc D to get the nuggets. Mc D and KFC always be the options in Bangkok when I don't know what to eat, cause they're just next to my apartment. Actually, I don't feel hungry, just that, if I don't eat, my head will keep on telling me that I'm hungry, that I should be eating something, end up eating even more. :D
In and out of apartment these few days, I have managed to meet some "old friends". Haha. I'm glad that the hotel staffs, they still remember me. They saw me and would be greeting, "Sawasdee kap", "Se Bai Dee Mai?", "Kap ma tam ngan lor?" I have not been meeting them for 1 and a half year. And they're still with Centrepoint, and I'm still with Silverlake. :P Anyway, I'm very glad to see them around. :)
Alright, gotta be going to bed now. Ready for a busy day tomorrow...

Working Life in Bangkok - Back to Bkk
At last, I'm able to online! Whew..the connection in Centrepoint has been changed to wireless connection. Have been trying to connect to the network since 9 till now. It is still not so stable yet, on and off, my roomate's wireless signal is ok, maybe my wireless reception is not that good.
I'm in Bkk now. When I just got reached, then I started to see the familiar faces, the familiar language and the familiar weather. Everything is the same, just that the place to take the taxi in airport has changed. The toll has gone up and so as the meter rate. I came to Centrepoint and checked into my room. Wow, they have already renovated the room. It was in the nicest colour, white. Nicee..
Bangrak, the place that I stay at is still the same, traffic jam.
